El premio Manuel Velasco Suárez a la excelencia en bioética buscar promover el estudio y la investigación en bioética en la región. La Secretaría de Salud de México y la Fundación Panamericana de la Salud y Educación, en cooperación con la Organización Panamericana de la Salud, crearon este premio en honor al Dr. Manuel Velasco Suárez, un médico e investigador mexicano. El ganador del premio recibirá financiamiento para realizar un proyecto de investigación en bioética. Se recibirán postulaciones hasta el 20 de setiembre. The Manuel Velasco Suárez Award for Excellence in Bioethics seeks to promote the study and research of bioethics in the region. The Secretary of Health of Mexico and the Pan American Health and Education Foundation, in cooperation with Pan American Health Organization, created this award to honor Dr. Manuel Velasco Suárez, a Mexican physician and scholar. Awardees will receive funds to conduct a research study on bioethics. Applications will be accepted until September 20.
