Right now, the Symposium is calling for ‘reporters’ to be part of the HSG Speaks team. During the event, #HSGSpeaks will provide live coverage of the activities taking place during the Symposium by sharing the key messages and offering on-the-spot perspective of the Symposium using blogs, interviews, film and social media.

Applications are being accepted from any health systems researcher or professional who will attend HSR2016, particularly from professionals based in low- or middle-income countries. You need to submit a 500-word blog on ‘why communications is necessary for health systems research’ by 15 August. You should understand the key themes of the Symposium, and be committed to actively cover the content of the Symposium using various social media platforms and tools.

Full details of the call are on the HSG Speaks webpage. The Symposium programme is now online: http://healthsystemsresearch.org/hsr2016/programme/symposium-programme/.
