The World Health Summit (WHS) is the annual conference of the M8 Alliance of Academic Health Centers, Universities and National Academies. Its goal is to improve health worldwide through collaboration, open dialogue among all stakeholders and agenda-setting through authoritative statements & calls for action strengthened by the InterAcademy Partnership (IAP) for Health.
 
At this key event, more than 1,600 Global Health protagonists, scientists, politicians and decision-makers from over 80 countries and every field in the healthcare spectrum gather to define and prepare for the challenges ahead. Specially reduced tickets are available until July 31, 2017.
 
Central topics this year will include Health Policy in the G7/G20, Vaccine Research and Development, Big Data for Health Governance, Global Health Security, and Healthy and Resilient Cities. We will also focus on Africa and the health aspects of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
 
Held under the high patronage of German Chancellor Angela Merkel and President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker, the World Health Summit is the world’s foremost strategic forum for Public and Global Health.
