MRC Unit The Gambia Vacancy: CLINICAL STUDY COORDINATOR

MRCG are looking for a Clinical Study Coordinator/Clinician to be responsible for supervising the trial team consisting of research clinicians, nurses and field workers. The post-holder will assist the Principal Investigator in all aspects including overseeing the conduct of daily study activities at the study site. S/he will act as the focal point for all communication with the chief investigator and other collaborators. The post-holder will be based at Fajara but will be required to spend significant periods in Farafenni in the North Bank Region of The Gambia.

The PRECISE project is an international network aiming at understanding risk factors for placental disorders in urban and rural Africa for planning future interventions to decrease the burden. In The Gambia, the study will recruit 2,000 pregnant women in Farafenni and follow them until the end of their pregnancy.
