Medic Mobile is growing. This is a unique opportunity to help design, launch, and provide exceptional support to a growing community of practice! We are looking for an enthusiastic community leader with strong technical project management skills, to help us and our community members deliver on ambitious goals. The Community Manager will report to Medic Mobile’s Chief Operating Officer.

----------
Medic Mobile is a 501(c)(3) public charity that was founded in 2010 to improve health in communities that are hardest to reach. We serve this mission by building, delivering, and supporting software that helps community health workers, managers, and clinical teams work together to provide equitable care. Our offices in Nairobi, Kathmandu, and San Francisco and over 90 staff support a network of partners and more than 24,000 health workers across health systems delivering care for millions of families. Advancing the core objective of universal health coverage and securing health as a human right, Medic Mobile strives to improve health for people who are poorest and most marginalized.

Medic Mobile invests our time and talent in open-source and open-access public goods, helping build software tools, documentation, workflow designs, and other resources for community health systems. In the next phase of our work, we will serve as core contributors to a shared toolkit and stewards of this open-source project. As we open up new resources, we will begin onboarding developers, designers, and implementers across partner organizations and governments. Our goal is for this community of contributors and experts to be able to deploy, extend, and improve upon the software toolkit.

We’re taking this approach because we believe health is a human right, and we want the best ideas and tools for community health to be free and open to those who want to use, integrate, and build upon them. We are searching for a Community Manager to help launch this initiative and support the community!
