About: I am a clinical leader and educator, currently serves as Senior Consultant Cardiologist at Gold Coast University Hospital (GCUH) and Professor of Medicine at Griffith and Bond Universities. As Director of Physician Training at GCUH (2014–2022), he managed the mentorship and development of physician trainees across numerous specialties. Previously in New York (1992–2010), he held senior roles at South Brooklyn Health/SUNY Downstate—including Director of Non-Invasive Cardiology and Internal Medicine Residency Program—and was Associate Professor for over 15 years. Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, I am a Fellow of multiple esteemed colleges: Royal Australasian, American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians, Royal College of Physicians (London & Edinburgh), and the Ceylon College of Physicians.
