Dr Jennifer Wilkinson

About: I have more than twenty years’ experience in the management of academic and pharmaceutical company led clinical trials. This includes clinical trials of investigational medicinal products, devices and complex interventions. I have also been involved in a design and monitoring capacity with a number of population-based data collection and audit studies (real world data) in the North of England and Scotland, in association with the Scotland & Newcastle Lymphoma Group. I have experience of managing international, national, multi-centre, Phase II, III trials and trials of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products. These include therapeutic areas such as medicine (diabetes, stroke), oncology (leukaemia, lymphoma, kidney and bladder cancer), muscular-skeletal disease (RA - ATMP), liver disease, neurology (Parkinson’s and dementia), psychiatry (depression), surgical trials (lung transplant), ophthalmology (ATMP). I have direct experience as CRA/senior CRA working on contracts and to SOPs for the pharmaceutical industry on trials sponsored by various companies including AstraZeneca, Roche, Abvie, Genzyme etc. I, therefore, have extensive experience of working within the current legislative & governance frameworks, with particular emphasis on oncology trials.
