About: I am a Christian, married and blessed with a son. I am a clinical officer by profession, currently working in South Sudan with ACROSS in the position of a health manager. ACROSS is a Christian based Non-Governmental organization serving various parts of south Sudan and also working in partnership with UNHCR in the refugee programs I have over 7 years of continuous clinical and public health practice in various parts of South Sudan, Uganda and Kenya. This includes vast knowledge in various scopes of healthcare management; curative, preventive, rehabilitative and healthcare financing. I have worked with marginalized and neglected communities in remote areas of South Sudan. This has enabled me to have a humanitarian spirit of providing health care to those caught up by natural calamities, wars or famine. With successful completion of this distance learning course in Sexual and reproductive health research, I will be equipped with more knowledge and skills to address to various sexual and reproductive health needs assessment and case management to ensuring improved delivery care to the populations of concern, including supporting /contributing to National Sexual and reproductive health forums on needs assessment and improved research skills.
