Paola Calzoni

About: 1989: she graduated in Biological Science at University of Siena 1994: she obtained the title of Ph.D in Cellular and Molecular Pathology at University of Perugia 1997: she specialized in Clinical Biochemistry at University of Siena; From 1995 to 2010 she worked as Biologist in Laboratories of Occupational Toxicology and Clinical Pathology of the Tuscany Region (Abbadia S.S. -SI; Empoli -FI; Lucca; Poggibonsi -SI); Since 2010 to 2014 she worked as Biologist in the Laboratory of Haematology and Coagulation of University Hospital of Siena. Actually she works in the Laboratories of Clinical Analysis of University Hospital of Siena as Responsible of Coagulation Laboratory. Her practice has been devoted primarily to the study of thrombotic and hemorragic diseases: congenital and acquired deficits of coagulation factors; congenital and acquired deficits of phisiological and pathological inhibitors of hemostasis. She is a member of the working group on “Hemostasis and Thrombosis” of the Italian Society of Clinical Biochemistry and Clinical Molecular Biology.
