About: I have over 7 years’ experience in HIV prevention programming; working with different target groups ranging from Orphan and vulnerable Children (OVC), Key Population (KP) and Adolescents and Young Persons (AYP). Presently, I work with Society for Family Health as a HIV Prevention Specialist on the Global Fund HIV New Funding Model (NFM) grant. My duties include supervising the state program staff who are responsible for coordinating GF HIV NFM prevention intervention through Community Based Organizations (CBOs) for Key Population (KP) including Female Sex Workers (FSW), Men who have Sex with Men (MSM) and People Who Inject Drugs (PWID) using the Minimum Prevention Package Intervention (MPPI) approach which is a mix of Behavioural, biomedical and structural interventions. My position also gives me the opportunity to interface with stakeholders at the national level who directly and indirectly support the implementation of the global fund HIV grant. Being in a strategic position, I also participate in decision making processes and implementation.
