About: I currently work as a Pediatric Specialist at the Severo Ochoa University Hospital in Leganés, with a permanent position since 2013. I previously trained as a resident in Pediatrics and its Specific Areas between 2002 and 2006. My scientific and clinical activities are routinely carried out at this center. Among my research interests are studies on viral respiratory infections and immune response, which I conducted in collaboration with Dr. Maria Luz García García and Dr. Cristina Calvo Rey, who also supervised my doctoral thesis, entitled: TSLP and Periostin Levels and the Development of Recurrent Wheezing in Children with Severe Bronchiolitis. She was awarded Outstanding Cum Laude in the July 2017 session of the Official Doctoral Program in Social and Health Research at the Alfonso X el Sabio University.
