Margita Pobijáková
About: I have been working in National Cancer Institute in Bratislava since 1996, as Head of Department of Radiation Oncology since 2005. I focuse on image-guided brachytherapy, treatment of gynaecological malignancies, lymphomas, gastrointestinal tumors and breast cancers. My publications and presentations deals with the outcomes of cervical cancer treatment, reviews of gastrointestinal tumor and melanoma treatment. I graduated in 2017 with the thesis „3D brachytherapy in the treatment of locally advanced cervical cancer“. I atended in many ESTRO teaching courses and organised contouring courses in Slovakia. I spent several short stays in AKH Vienna focusing on image-guided brachytherapy. I was a coordinator of several projects with IAEA.
