About: Gita Nirmala Sari is a midwife who is a lecturer and researcher at the Health Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health, Jakarta III, with a lecturer position of Associate Professor in the field of midwifery and public health in the Department of Midwifery. Graduates of Doctoral Education in the Field of Medical Sciences at Osaka University, Japan in 2021 and have the opportunity to continue to the Post Doctoral level with a scholarship from Osaka University in 2021-2023. Currently, for the 2023-2028 period, she has been elected as the central board of the Indonesian Midwives Association for Advocacy and International Relations and has also been elected to the Regional Professional Committee as a regulator in the Southeast Asia region for the International Confederation of Midwives (ICM). Gita Nirmala Sari has experience writing many scientific articles. Research that has been published in reputable international and national journals. Apart from that, Gita Nirmala Sari is currently also part of the midwifery research advisory team for the Asia Pacific region at the Burnet Institute Australia since 2024.
