About: Graduated in Medicine from the Faculdade Evangélica de Medicina do Paraná (1992), with medical residency in Pediatrics (HC - UFPR 1993-1994), medical residency in Infectious and Parasitic Diseases (HC-UFPR, 1995), a Master's degree in Pediatrics (UFPR 1998), and a PhD in Child and Adolescent Health (UFPR 2005). A professor at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) since 1999, she is currently a Full Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the Health Sciences Sector of UFPR and a professor in the Graduate Program in Child and Adolescent Health at UFPR. She served as Head of the Department of Pediatrics (2010-2013), Coordinator of the Medical Course (2014-2015), and Director of the UFPR Toledo Campus from 2016 to 2023, where she participated in the implementation of the Campus and the Medical Course. She has experience in the field of Medicine, with an emphasis on Medical Education and Pediatric Infectology, primarily working on the following topics: immunizations, congenital and perinatal infections, pediatric AIDS, and tuberculosis.
